Language: Songs from many folk traditions; no language needed
Seven Polish singers combine a cappella polyphonic singing with ethnic instruments (shaman drum, kalimba, gong, flute, chimes and singing bowls) and vocal improvisations inspired by the sounds of nature. The repertoire draws on folk songs from Ukraine, the Balkans, Belarus, Albania, Scandinavia and Poland, and is described as world, mystic folk or medicine music.
Two of the ensemble's albums, Rasti and Hé oyaté, were nominated for the most important Polish music award in the world music album of the year category. The concert starts at 20:00.
